Build log

Selected public changes from the repository notes, newest first.

  1. Replaced the Work practice panel photos with three blue line-art blueprint drawings: a route to a target, an exploded device, and a connected system of modules. They were generated with OpenAI gpt-image-2 and encoded as responsive WebP.

  2. Added a motion pass across the site: idle letter swaps and a rolling contact button, counting Practice numbers with fly-in headlines, a guided tour through the fleet section, and a smoke trail behind the headline letters. The site's AI agent moved to GPT-6 Luna with a cap on answer length.

  3. htmlToText() in now drops aria-hidden="true" elements with their subtrees (depth-matched close tag, so nested markup like the practice odometer goes whole; void/self-closing lose only the tag; an unclosed hidden element never swallows the rest of the page). Regenerated api/knowledge.js (28.6 → 27.9 KB): the…

  4. Conflicts in components.mjs, pages.mjs and v2/index.html were resolved by taking the reel markup and removing the eyebrows it added (worlds heading, LIVE WORK & WORLDS, MORE LIVE SITES, concept card labels)..live-design keeps "More live sites" as its aria-label.

  5. Built on branch feat/reels-and-intro (worktree.worktrees/reels-intro), not merged: (1) Paul's site footage as lazy reels, AV1 + HEVC at 1600 px (dense Small Hours / Second Brain at 1280 px 24 fps), 17 MB total committed, zero video bytes on first load, one clip at a time, posters only in Still/reduced motion/data…

  6. Removed every small uppercase section eyebrow site-wide ("02 / CONNECT THE INTELLIGENCE", "01 / SELECTED WORK", timeline and 404 labels, card and concept labels). hero(), bodyCopy() and imageCard() no longer take a label.

  7. Fixed the water-interlude arrival hold never engaging on Mac touchpads (). Root cause: Chrome wheel scroll latching makes only the first wheel of a touchpad gesture cancelable and scrolls the rest on the compositor; the old code caught only cancelable events, and the next wheel (dispatched before the frame's scroll…

  8. Shipped the overnight build to production: proof line + CSO tab, live hero agent on OpenAI, next-token headline, attention lines, hold-to-regenerate, boot loader, capability marquee, scroll-lit manifesto, opt-in Web Audio, "Inside my fleet" three.js section with live hub pulses, ⌘K Ask palette, contact smart…

  9. Generated three coordinated portrait images in Higgsfield for the final Work practice panel: planning a blue route, assembling a prototype, and collaborating on a modular system. Replaced the blurry sculpture crops, removed grayscale filtering and added responsive WebP sources.

  10. Changed Work's scroll line to one solid blue stroke with a rounded leading cap, wider smooth shoulders and tangent-continuous joins. Removed the highlight, faint track and smoke renderer from the live entry.

  11. Made the Work scroll line, highlight and faint track 2.5 times thicker. Main stroke is now 10px desktop and 7.5px compact.

  12. Filled the Work page's final practice panel with three large monochrome artwork columns: Set direction, Make it real, Stay involved. Reused existing images, replaced the undersized orbit on this panel and placed the continuation controls below the artwork.

  13. Enlarged Work pool symbols 20%, replaced checks with triangles, added roughly four rows, shortened the section and added a once-per-document arrival scroll catch.

  14. Replaced the primary site's earth tones with graphite, white and electric blue; updated decorative lighting, network, work thread, water, favicon and four native scene stills; made invitation text continuous and seam-free with a smaller, flatter, shorter blue cursor trail.
